New board ready to go!

I can’t wait to ride my new board.
Thanks to Murasaki Sports. Fade. Wes. Shahalak. Dynamic Dynosaur.
Stoked!

Head to Tail

I got this small tankobu on my head from the tail of my board yesterday. Hahaha…
I’m stoked it’s a small scratch because it could’ve been a lot worse!
I caught a wave and knew it was too late so I had to jump off my board.
Somehow the tail cracked me inthe head. it was funny because there was hair in stuck on the tail. Haha…
Thank God it wasn’t the fin.

Dawn patrol again!

Murasaki trip day 5.
We’re hoping the surf report is right and it’s 3-4 ft.
Could be fun!

Murasaki Trip Day 4… LONG DAY!

We woke up super early today… AGAIN!

Went to Leonard’s this morning.
Meanest Malasada’s!

Keisuke is HERE!
Here’s Zen and Keisuke.
Hung out with the boys after we got some good sandbar shacks.
You’ll see the photos soon!
We got some sick ones!

We saw Batz, Zen, the Wooley’s, Mike D, everyone…
This is how we check the waves at Mike Dodd’s house…
Hahaha!
Surfline Surf Cam Saiko!
Haha…

After grinding some lunch we checked V-Land.
We were searching for a spot to surf and shoot but V-Land was so crowded.
I thought people are watching the Super Bowl?
We ended up going to OTW, Pipe, and Backdoor.
Not that good…
But still nice to surf.

Here’s the boys after we surfed.
U-Suke, Mike Dodd, and Keisuke!

U-Suke and Shohei at Waimea.
Shohei likes the shorebreak now.
I think we both want to try and get a good shot.
We’ve learned from the last time we went out there.

This is the car ride home…
This is what happens when you wake up every day at 5 a.m. and surf all day.

And we just got back from Tokkuri Tei!
It was mean!
Shimada bought a sake for all of us to remember the fun memories on the trip.
We gave it to Shohei.
Here’s a photo of everyone.
Cori, me, Ta san, Sayuri, U-Suke, Tomo, Shimada, and Shohei.
Great food, Good times!
.
.
Not going to sleep….
Gotta wake up early.. AGAIN!

Murasaki Trip Day 3.

Surfed early this morning before the crowd came out.
Was pretty fun.
Everyone got a little barrel… Till the crowd came.
Oh well..

This photo is HILARIOUS!
Shohei did it first, then I wanted to try.
So funny!

We went to grind some Waialua Bakery.
Shimada is always funny and making everyone laugh!

After a bite to eat, we went to check the waves.
I ran into my boy, Travis Hashimoto.
Trav pretty much runs the T&C Surf Factory.
He’s a very, very, very good surfer and National Amateur Champ.
I really think Trav had the talent to be a pro but didn’t get lucky with the backing.
It’s all good though… We had lots of fun doing some JPSA’s and back in the day HASA events.
We would talk so much trash to each other and only do the event if the other one was doing it.
Haha…
Good stuff.
.
.
After meeting Trav, we surfed Haleiwa.
I got to see Sunny Garcia and thank him for giving me his spot at the Maili Pt. Volcom Comp.
He’s definitely a hero.
I really look up to the way he surfs.
Surfed with Dustin Cuizon, Trav Tominaga, Shohei, Sayuri, Matty Liu, Allen Wickland, Craig Sugihara, Derek Wong…
Yup, you could say there was a lot of guys out. Haha..
Pretty fun though.

After all that we were tired and went to Town.
Stoked!
I got to watch the UFC 109 (like the previous post says)!
Check out this DEEP, DEEP DARCE by Paulo Tiago!
Gnarly!

And lastly, here’s a photo from my Uncle Lance…
Sumo Live!
Awesome!
.
.
Tomorrow, should be fun.
Everyone will be watching football and hopefully I’ll get a few waves at… some spot.

HOME SWEET HOME from Billabong on Vimeo.

Parko talking about his holiday break from the tour.

UFC 109!

2 surfs with the Murasaki guys and then UFC 109 with Cori and the fam.
So nice to hang with Cori.
It feels like I haven’t seen her awhile since I’ve been busy working.

Day 3. Dawn patrol.

Irifune Mean!

Just grinded Irifune.
Ready for tomorrow’s photo/video shoot!
U-suke was the first to try the Ahi Avacado.
Everyone was scared, but then everyone got into and liked it.
Oyasumi nasai.

ZERO ONE Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu…

Woke up this morning at 6 a.m. to go to the North Shore with the Murasaki Sports team.
We can break boards pretty easy so we’re loading it up and prepared for the worst.
We ended p surfing Haleiwa… Then, ah… some spot. Then, Waimea Shorey.

U-suke talked Shohei and I into catching a couple closeouts.
Haha!
It was not as bad as I thought.
Kinda fun, but I did get pumped a few times.
Haha!
I bet the photos are funny, since I was definitely not relaxed pulling in. Haha…

Teppei and Kenji Sakaguchi met up with us.
Teppei was ripping and Kenji was ripping too!
Did you know he’s a black belt judo!
Sick!
I hope he can teach me some moves. Haha!

Thanks to Zero One!
I’ve got some sick new wetsuits!
Thank you ZERO ONE!
My new sponsor.
The wetsuits look SICK!
Check out their site: http://www.riga.co.jp/zo/zo.htm
I’ve gotten a couple of sponsorship changes but it’s pretty cool.
It’s like a new beginning and they’re both solid companies so I’m stoked!
Thanks to Ronin and ZeroOne!

UFC Undisputed 2010 is coming out on PSP!
Ohhhh YAH!
Broke Neck! You better get it so we can challenge!
Aw Right!

Here’s the trailer for the new UFC game.
Looks sick!

And check out the sandbar the other day.
Looks fun!!!
And those guys ripped it up!

Day 1 of the Murasaki Trip

I was wondering what Ta san was doing?
And what was with the helmet.

Then, he told me what he’s planning on doing.
Man…
Very creative and the footage turned out cool!

Of course after the girls knew I took pictures of Ta san for my blog, they wanted in on the blog.
Sayuri and Alyssa.
The girls surfed good today.

Waves were super small at Tracks but it was fun so that everyone could surf.
Even Shimada caught a few waves.

After that we ate some En Fuego’s.
MEAN!
I feel like taking a nap now…

The Volcom Pipeline Pro finished in fine fashion in some of the best waves of the season. And once again, Jamie O’Brien reaffirmed his supremacy over the world’s most infamous wave. Check out some of the highlights from the action.
