Woke up today early and it was raining…
But they don’t stop us.
My body was a little sore from rolling yesterday but not too bad.
Moody, Koa boy, Kimo, me, and THE BATZ!
Yup, Shibatz came! And he lasted the whole workout.
The real challenge for Batz will be waking up and coming again.
I remember Batz used to tell me that it’s easy to come once or twice… To keep going is when it counts.
And I’m stoked he’s coming!

Today was super, super hard. We went all out today.
We’ll definitely be sore tomorrow.

Worked today at Insurance Solutions and then worked out with Josh and Adam. Put in a good roll today.
I think martial arts and surfing is so similar. There is so much mental toughness involved.
After that Adam, Megan, and I watched Alice in Wonderland.
Pretty cool movie!

The waves were horrible yesterday. Real Bad.
But gotta surf bad waves to get good at them.
Surfed yesterday with Dean Sumida and Marshall and Tracy.

It was our matta ne dinner.
We told stories… We had beers… It was so much fun.

Rain, Sun, Wind, whatever… Kimo always has Plan B and C.
Today was good.

Cori and I went to a beautiful wedding today in Waikiki.
Our friends, Kevin and Sharon tied the knot!
It was a super nice wedding!
Congratulations to them!

We were driving from the North Shore and Teppei had a KANAK ATTACK.
That’s when you eat so much that you get sleepy.
Haha…
I guess it’s not easy being a Daddy. You don’t get much sleep.

Went to pick up boards at Steve Aichner.
My Dad got one, Teppei got one, and I got one.
And they all look VERY GOOD!

After picking up our boards we went straight to D-Head for some man-on-man heat practice with Teppei.
I got VERY lucky and won 2-1, but that’s VERY rare.
Teppei usually always smashes me.
